The Mission of The Southlands Foundation is to provide a historical and agrarian connection to the community, and cultivate a respect and love for the land and its animals through education, conservation and outdoor recreation.
Southlands enthusiastically welcomes the area community to our programs and property. Throughout the year, we offer many opportunities for both young and old to interact with our horses and enjoy our natural beauty. Through prudent management of our assets and the financial support of our members, we are able to keep costs low to encourage the public to participate. Southlands has many school horses and ponies available for lessons, and provides boarding for horse owners. We invite all ages and abilities to join our riding programs!
We are the oldest riding school in the Hudson Valley in addition to being a Not-For-Profit Educational Organization Section 501 c (3).
